About me
Thanks for stopping by! I'm Helen and I'm a product designer based in New York City.
Originally from Boston, I worked and studied at MassArt before devoting my career to user-centered design. I believe my superpower is cutting through ambiguity and aligning teams toward a common direction (my secret weapon: workshopping!).
What is good design?
I've had the opportunity to work at rapidly growing organizations where I’ve been exposed to green space, undefined problems as well as rigid, legacy software. In all of these situations, I recognize that good design is more than a beautiful interface but rather, a best fit solution to a user and their problem at a given moment.
What am I looking for?
I'm a designer that likes to make an impact. I believe anyone can benefit from design thinking in their work. I'd be excited to work with anyone curious about design and eager to collaborate together.

Art and travel
Outside of UX, I'm passionate about making art and exploring different mediums. I get inspiration from my surroundings, family & friends, and traveling to new places. Here's a little peak into my work and recent travel experiences!
